On May 18-19, Ms. Huang Dong attended the 2019 Annual Conference of the Chinese Association for European Studies, hosted and organized by the School of Politics and International Relations and the Center of German Studies of Tongji University, and participated in group discussions and exchanges.
The theme of the annual conference was "Europe at the Crossroads". It lasted one and a half days, including four breakout sessions. More than 160 experts, scholars, teachers and students in European studies participated in the conference, who came from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Commerce, and European research institutes of universities and research institutes across the country. The conference focused on European economy and governance, "One Belt, One Road" and the "European Union". The topics of China-Europe cooperation, European politics and society, and European diplomacy and security will be discussed.
