Recently, Associate Researcher Kai Liao represented our center to attend the 2019 Annual Conference of Country and Regional Studies, and had in-depth communication with the delegates to discuss the future of country and regional studies.
The 2019 Annual Conference of Country and Regional Studies was held in Shanghai Foreign Language University, Songjiang Campus on December 29-30, 2019. It is reported that this is the first annual national academic conference since the Ministry of Education launched its country and regional studies in 2011, heads of more than 400 national and regional research centers and experts and scholars from 158 universities participated in the conference. In 29th morning, opening ceremony of the annual academic conference was held, then in the afternoon was the session of the sub-forum. In 30th morning was the session of the ambassadors' forum and summing up of the sub-forum conference on the 30th.
